Photos from an Allroad Camping Trip in the Cascade Mountains

Even in the Seattle suburbs, backroads see little traffic.
Index is a charming, half-forgotten town off the main highway.
The road over Jack Pass turns to gravel further uphill. Few cars travel here. (Since this trip, the road has washed out in several places and is not passable.)
Blewett once was a thriving mining town. Today, only a roadside marker recalls its glory days.
Even the main road over Swauk Pass is a fun ride on a glorious fall morning.
