Even in the 21st century, cyclist can experience riding on roads that have changed little in decades. Backroads continue to exist, and with every new road built, traffic is re-routed, opening new routes for cyclists. This page is intended as inspiration to explore your region. As it grows, it will form a guide to some of the best rides in North America. Readers are encouraged to send in their favorite rides with photos and maps.
